You can rely on this
This is especially
important to us
Quality.
Quality is the top priority for Assoc. Prof. Dr. Weninger. Quality in medicine is measurable. Dr. Weninger runs two practices equipped with the latest medical technology. This has been repeatedly confirmed in independent quality assessments.
In addition, he holds the continuing education diploma of the Austrian Medical Chamber — a seal of quality awarded only to physicians who regularly complete advanced training in their field.
Safety.
Patient safety is paramount for Dr. Weninger. This is primarily ensured by the very high number of surgeries he performs. It means his experience and expertise in his specialty are exceptionally high.
Every surgery also includes standardized safety checks and the so-called “team time-out.”
Coordinated team.
Dr. Weninger always works with the same surgical team. This allows highly efficient and safe procedures.
A well-coordinated team increases the quality of surgical outcomes and enables a calm, focused working atmosphere.
Hygiene.
Hygiene is a top priority for Dr. Weninger. The conscientious conduct of all operating room personnel is continuously monitored. Special air measurements and state-of-the-art equipment ensure that procedures are carried out under the cleanest possible conditions.
Naturally, Dr. Weninger operates exclusively in ORs certified as class 1A sterile environments.
Infection rate.
Compared to international standards, Dr. Weninger’s infection rate is significantly lower.
Arthroscopy:
International: 0.02–0.7%
Dr. Weninger: 0.005%
ACL reconstruction:
International: 0.1–1.2%
Dr. Weninger: 0.02%
Anaesthesia.
Dr. Weninger always works with the same anesthesiologists. Because the procedures are fully synchronized, surgery and anesthesia times are short. He also operates exclusively in hospitals with round-the-clock anesthesiology coverage.
If complications occur during or after surgery, an anesthesiologist and the appropriate nursing staff are always immediately available.
Operation time.
Due to standardized procedures and a high volume of cases, Dr. Weninger’s surgeries are very short.
Arthroscopies have an average surgical time of 12 minutes (7–21 minutes).
ACL reconstructions average 30 minutes (23–56 minutes).
Shorter operating times mean a lower risk of infection, less anesthesia, and therefore greater patient safety.
